In a world compressed between body, system, and time, is transformation possible?
Human Was offers a multi-layered performance experience situated within the field of live art, positioning the audience not merely as observers, but as witnesses. Shaped by 12 performers and live sound design, the work invites the audience into the core of movement and transformation through choreography, sound, and visual rituals.Composed of five sections, the performance begins with the figure of the human becoming uniform within monotonous systems, and evolves toward traces of global destruction, the effects of time on the body, and ultimately the possibility of purification. In this world that is continuously re-constructed, improvisation lies at the heart of the performance; each showing unfolds into a unique transformation.Human Was brings to the stage the emotions we can still hold onto while we are human, as well as the realities we must confront.
It invites you to reconsider the limits of the body and the meaning of the choreographic world.
