Open House - Site-Based Participatory Theatre - Approx 50’ no intermission.
It is a site-specific and participatory performance that examines the past, present, and speculative future of Istanbul Drapers Bazaar (İMÇ). Guided by two different “real estate agents,” the audience embarks on an unconventional “open house” tour through the corridors of İMÇ. Yet what is being sold is not merely square meters—memory, loss, conflict, and desire also become subjects of negotiation.
Open House, presented as part of the 27th Istanbul Theatre Festival, will meet the audience on November 11th, 12th, and 13th.
